Located on Valencia’s Dr. J.J. Domine Avenue, the new headquarters of Badenes Logistics—a leading international customs broker—breaks away from conventional corporate design. Executed by Meet&Co Furniture, the workspace seamlessly translates the perpetual fluidity of ocean freight into a striking physical environment.
Traditional office layouts fail to reflect the dynamic nature of global trade, often creating rigid boundaries that hinder collaboration. Badenes Logistics needed to transform their headquarters into a functional "contemporary port" that addresses high-noise distractions, rigid zoning, and the need to seamlessly integrate a raw, industrial maritime identity with a refined, comfortable workspace.
Meet&Co implemented a fluid geometric design using continuous curved paths to eliminate rigid office borders. Key execution strategies included:
1. Brand Identity: Infusing corporate blue with rust and terracotta tones to mirror weathered port materials.
2. Material Innovation: Installing Homapal wavy corrugated metallic cladding to mimic the shimmering sea, alongside exposed blue utility ceilings.
3. Upcycled Architecture: Deconstructing industrial shipping containers into soundproof, freestanding meeting pods and focused work cabins.
4. Acoustic Comfort: Layering Tarkett acoustic carpets (by Patricia Urquiola) and dynamic vinyl flooring to map out seamless, high-performance acoustic paths.
1. Enhanced Spatial Flow: Replaced rigid walls with continuous curved pathways, creating an intuitive layout that organically connects public collaboration zones and private desks.
2. Superior Acoustic Performance: Integrated high-performance Tarkett carpets and upcycled container pods, successfully isolating noise and providing peaceful zones for high-focus tasks.
3. Tangible Brand Statement: Transformed a functional workspace into a physical extension of the brand's maritime heritage, enhancing employee pride and establishing a landmark corporate identity.
